Jul 23, 2019 How to Find IP Camera Address & Set up Remote Viewing May 13, 2020 Mac Mini Server Edition IP Address Completely Different Then I signed into my Gmail from the Mac and when Google performed the 2FA it said it was coming from Perth Australia, even though I'm living in Melbourne Australia. I double checked and the Mac mini IP address is completely different from my local IP address.
I setup an Apache web server on my Windows 8.1 PC. And I used my Android phone to share the WiFi Station with my PC to let it (the PC running the Apache web server) access the internet. My PC got the local ip 192.168.43.241 from the WiFi Station of my phone.
If you can access a server running on your own machine via 127.0.0.1 (or localhost) but not via the computer's ip address, this means that the server software is configured to listen on the localhost interface only.This is a configuration item and to avoid exposing a potentially unsecure server many server programs come preconfigured to listen on localhost only.
