Feb 25, 2011 · No extra fees for tethering when rooted. I have the app called "Wireless Tether" I can connect my laptop to my phone using the phone as wifi but I cannot do it with the xoom. I was able to do it with the bluetooth option in the app but it seems a lot slower to me. Has anybody else been able to tether from a rooted phone?
